A. Samuels is the creative nom de rap of Allen Samuels, a 55-year-old casino exec with a passion for hip hop music and too much time and money one his hands. (Problems I wish were my own!) His passion for hip-hop has led him to record “Livin’ De Life,” his ode to the blingtastic lifestyle of private jets and champagne he enjoys thanks to his day job.
[Samuels] said he penned the song four years ago after a wealthy French entreprenuer [sic] he met at a casino told him, “I know a lot of people with money, and they don’t know how to live de life. I live de life, and you must live de life,” Samuels said.
