On Thursday, December 15, join actress/writer/activist Tigist Selam as she hosts the first NYC Ethiopia Reads Fundraiser. The mission of Ethiopia Reads is to improve the lives of future generations of Ethiopians via education and to foster a genuine love of learning amongst the country’s children.
The fundraiser is taking place between 8-10pm at the Dwyer Cultural Center in Harlem. Suggested donation at the door is $50 (cash only), and there will be live music, food, drink, raffles, and more. For more information, please check out www.ethiopiareads.org.
