It’s the hotel gift shop re-imagined as a modern day bazaar, complete with a “shop without walls” design, making this a truly unique retail experience. Fortune Dunny & Luck Dunny 8-Inch

MR. Shane Jessup’s Dunny from Series 4 blew up to 8-inches, bringing twice the prosperity and happiness in two fortuitous styles! Fortune, in glorious gold, and Luck, in lustrous black, come with a red envelope and gold coin necklace, ensuring the tides of fate sway in your favor. Retailing for $75.00 each, good Fortune and Luck arrive on July 23.

Artist: MR. Shane Jessup is an artist/designer working and living in Brooklyn, NY and is the man responsible for Kidrobot’s best-selling “Things That Hurt” zipper pull series. MR. Shane Jessup’s work has been featured in publications such as Juxtapoz and Time Out New York. His work has been displayed in galleries such as 111 Minna (San Francisco), Merry Karnowsky Gallery (Los Angeles), and White Walls (SF).

The Week in Cool 11-2-08

Though I promised more, I still gave less this week. For that, I apologize. It’s been insane, just like the Huck Gee Dunny (see right). So much has been happening for me recently, I’ve been neglecting y’all. But the stuff I did post about:

• I need Audrey Hepburn and the Rat Pack hanging on my wall.
• You will no longer get lost meeting your Craigslist bootie call.
• Unfortunately, torture porn is not dead.
• It’s Zuul, not Gozer.
• Already I’m over 2500 words into NaNoWriMo!
• Sarah Silverman and Jimmy Kimmel reunited.
• Sadly, the loss of an inspiration to many.

Halloween was fucked for me, so there are no pics, even though I did wear my costume all day. Ah well. Feeling good since I’ve started my NaNoWriMo project and I’m still working on the latest script, which I’ve been procrastinating on. Shout out to the W!ldbrain crew, oh, and make sure you get your asses out and vote, motherfuckers! Holler!
