Yeah, I’m speechless right about now.

Seth Rogen: “LOL ‘Ghostbusters 3′ is A Shitty Idea, Bro!”

Thank the heavens! The boys over at First Showing report that Seth Rogen expressed a small measure of disgust at the thought of a third Ghostbusters movie.

Collider caught up with Seth Rogen recently while he was out promoting Zack and Miri and asked him about his thoughts on Ghostbusters 3. Its been rumored that Sony is wooing Judd Apatow for that revival and that might mean Rogen could be involved. But after these comments, I don’t think that’ll be the case, although it could all change once they finish a script. “It’s hard to imagine that would be good, isn’t it? … It sounds like a terrible idea when you first hear it.”

The Week in Cool 10.26.08

Yeah, I need to blog more. Trust, that will happen soon. But in the meantime, what did I deem worthy to post about this week?

• I was too damn lazy to cook breakfast so I became pro-Choice.
• The Morning Coffee was delicious, though.
• Zack Snyder’s latest Watchmen trailer has me convinced that it will be the movie event of 2009. T.S. Johnson has no fucking idea what she’s talking about.
• Nothing has changed. ScriptGirl is still sexy, smart, and the personification of awesome.
• Mayhaps I need to stop drinking.

Thanks to everyone who keeps coming by to check me out. And I’m surprised that “Harley Quinn” has suddenly become a major source of interest. Did I miss something? Help me out, people! Don’t forget, I’m also on the Twitter now! Tee hee!

ScriptGirl Report 10.24.08

Okay, please reference this post to understand why I’m just now posting this. I need to lay off the alcohol for a minute, don’t you agree?? And even worse, I’ve not done too much writing lately. My writing schedule has totally been thrown off, and while I should be on the second draft of my current script, I’m only halfway through the first draft. Shame. Shame on me.

ScriptGirl Report 9-26-08

SG has officially attained celebrity status.

Last week’s video had over 200,000 views. “All the views were a bit of a freak of nature, I think,” she told me. “Like a tsunami! But I finally cracked the YouTube Dutch Antilles top 100, so it’s all good!”

It certainly is all good. And you already know what’s to come. In a few months, SG will star in her very own reality television series. Wait and see. This week’s video after the jump.

“Notorious” Teaser Trailer

While I hope this movie is extra good (especially as parts of it were filmed on my street in front of the crib in BKNYC), I can’t help but wonder if this shit is going down too soon. I mean, Biggie passed away 11 years ago. Does the current generation really suffer from short term memory like that? Do the kids really not know about Biggie and his influence on the game? If the answers to these queries are the in the column marked “affirmative,” then we’re living in truly sad times.

Anyway, check out the teaser trailer for the Biggie biopic Notorious, starring Angela Bassett, Derek Luke, Anthony Mackie and Jamal Woolard, set to be released in January ’09.

ScriptGirl Report 9-12-08

I think I’m going to become a rock star. That way, it’ll be that much easier to pitch my screenplay to a Hollywood exec. *sigh* The life of the charmed, I tell ya.

Our favorite industry insider, SG, is back with more script sale goodness. As usual, the interludes are top notch. Please forgive if I’m not as eloquent in this post, but I’m currently watching the Ocean’s Eleven trilogy while sipping on Georgi and Tropicana. I swear, Georgi must be the cheapest vodka I’ve ingested since Popov back in ’99. Yeah, I’m looking at you, W-I-Z.
