Movie Trailer: The Great Gatsby Starring Leonardo Dicaprio (Video)

As you should know by now, my favorite book of all-time is The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. It’s a classic tale of status, wealth, ambition, and (most of all) love. The 70s film version starring Robert Redford will always be cool, but now Baz Luhrmann has decided to give the jazz age story a new 3D sheen. Will it work? Who knows. The film stars Leonardo DiCaprio as the titular Gatsby, Tobey Maguire as Nick Carroway, and Carey Mulligan as Daisy. Check out the trailer above.

The new trailer for The Dark Knight Rises has been released and it’s … okay, I suppose. At least we can understand what the hell Tom Hardy’s villain Bane is saying in this one. We also get a whole lot of Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle/Catwoman.

Tim & Eric’s Billion Dollar Movie Red Band Trailer #Shrim

Words cannot begin to explain the insane, esoteric, and hilarious comedy sensibilities of Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim. Their sketch comedy show, aptly named Tim & Eric’s Awesome Show, Great Job, was one of my favorites on Adult Swim. Now they’re bringing their surreal vision to the big screen in Tim & Eric’s Billion Dollar Movie.

The plot, from Wikipedia:

Tim and Eric are given a billion dollars to make a movie, but squander every dime … and the sinister Schlaaang corporation is pissed. Their lives at stake, the guys skip town in search of a way to pay the money back. When they happen upon a chance to rehabilitate a bankrupt mall full of vagrants, bizarre stores and a man-eating wolf that stalks the food court, they see dollar signs — a billion of them.

New Model, Original Parts: “Fast & Furious” Trailer!

4 Fast 4 Furious

I can’t e’em lie, when The Fast & The Furious, starring Vin Diesel and the super sexy Michelle Rodriguez and equally sexy Jordana Brewster, first came out in 2001, I was looking at it like, WTF?! Not being a major car enthusiast, the whole concept was lost on me. I didn’t see how the movie could’ve been any good.

Then I saw it. Oh my sweet buttocks, The Fast & The Furious roxor’d my soxorz. Yeah, yeah, it was Point Break with rice rockets, but the movie itself was surprisingly entertaining and well-made. I had to give propers all around. Of course, a lackluster sequel (without Vin Diesel or the aforementioned ladies) followed, made only bearable by the presence of my future ex-baby mama, Eva Mendes. I never saw the third one, but apparently Vin Diesel’s cameo at the end hinted at something great. (Oh, did I just spoil the surprise cameo in Tokyo Drift?)

Well, ladies and gentlemen, get ready for the fourth film in the franchise, simply titled Fast & Furious. All four leads are back, and if that’s not enough to convince you, check out the fast, furious trailer after the jump.
