Throwback Movie: My Tutor

My Tutor is a 1983 comedy starring Caren Kaye, Kevin McCarthy, Crispin Glover, and an assorted bunch of no-names. I’m sure you can figure out the film’s plot from the racy and insane trailer above, but in case you can’t, let me quote IMDb’s quite accurate summary: “A rich father hires a tutor for his son. The son is a horny teenager and the tutor is a gorgeous blonde. Complications ensue.” Boom!

This was yet another low-budget, late night 80s cable classic, and the ultimate in male fantasy/wish fulfillment. Not sure how it did in theaters but I’m almost certain it was overshadowed by the infinitely superior Risky Business. Still, all in all, you can’t complain too much—the main character has a fucking fine ass live-in tutor who likes to go skinny dipping in the family’s enormous pool. Not to mention all the other topless shenanigans he finds himself in.

Learning French was never so much FUN, indeed.

  1. Caren Kaye was born on the very same month, very same day, and the very same year as the Omaha hero, Gary Michael Joy! Both were born on March 12, 1951!

  2. Hi to every one, because I am actually keen of reading this web site’s post to be updated on a regular basis. It carries fastidious material.
